Welcome to the EISD Desktop Imaging Pilot!

Welcome to Google Blogger, if you haven't already given it a whirl!

We hope to provide an easy-to-use format for you to tell us how the applications are working (or not working) out for you.

You can link to this site from our EISD Desktop Imaging Pilot website or directly, if you choose.

Issues? Questions? General well-wishes? Click here to contact Janice and let her know!

Have fun with this pilot and have a great rest of the year!

This seems like a good way to share what we are doing.

Thanks, Janice!

I know everyone is incredibly busy, but this seemed like the quickest way to get campus input. I hope everyone likes this method so we can use it each time we have a new application to deploy!

This will be an interesting experiment for getting feedback on the images. Once our computer is reimaged with the new image are we suppose to report issues on the blog and can we post screen shots of the issues or changes we would like? Do we post our topics as a new post each time or do we just add comments to this first post? Do we have rights to add a new post to your blog? Thanks ofr giving this a try. I hope it works well. We might need to do a little tutorial for those folks that have not used blogger before.

I'm up for this latest and sure-to-grow-to greatest adventure. This has the potential to be very helpful and let's have some fun, too.

Reba - great questions! I see you already found out that I gave you all rights to post - I want this to be an open forum to discuss processes and make them better! Feel free to either add comments if it's about the same topic, or to add new posts. Your choice!

We will only be sending out test applications for now, and not reimaging anyone other than CCE. When everyone's reimaged this summer, I believe issues would still be reported via the work order system (as I've been told we're using Eduphoria for at least another year), but I'll let you know if that changes.

Thanks again!
